March is Women’s History Month, and it’s the perfect time to celebrate all that women have achieved throughout history while showing appreciation for the women you work with.
What is Women’s History Month?
Women’s History Month started as Women’s History Week in 1981. In 1987, a National Women’s History Project petition led to its month-long extension.
During March, we commemorate women like astronaut Sally Ride, civil rights activist Maya Angelou, First Lady Michelle Obama, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and women’s rights activist Susan B. Anthony.
